Her work started to earn popularity on the radio, and soon she was hired to host a radio talk show on KJSL, after which she decided to move to Alabama to take advantage of work at the network’s flagship station WYDE-FM

Loudon would then become the host of her own drive time show entitled “Dr. Gina Show”, and her popularity continued to grow particularly as she frequently appeared as a part of Fox Business and Fox News, as well as on other television networks, and in publications, often as a guest, contributor or a reference. In 2016, she alongside her husband were elected as Delegates to the Republican National Convention, after she gave a commencement address to her alma mater.

She was also a national media surrogate for Donald Trump during the 2016 US presidential election, and now serves as a part of the Donald J. Trump Media Advisory Board. She also appeared in the reality television program entitled “Wife Swap” alongside her husband – the show has two families from different social classes and lifestyles swap wives/mothers or even husbands for two weeks. The program deliberately swaps wives with dramatically different lifestyles, and documents the discoveries of the two families with a new family member. Gina was swapped with a polyamorous and bisexual family, eventually resulting in her walking off the set, the first woman to do so, and perhaps reflecting her own biases.

Relationships, Family, and Personal Life

While studying at William Woods University, Gina met her future husband John William Loudon, who would become a member of the Missouri House of Representatives before a member of the Missouri Senate. They married in 1990 at Westminster College; both of them are Presbyterian. They have five children including one who they adopted and has Downs Syndrome. The family resides in Palm Beach, Florida.

Gina is well known to be critical of liberalism, and of Barack Obama’s US presidency; she is an avid supporter of free speech and gun rights. It is also reported that she is a member of the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, owned by President Donald Trump; the place was initially owned by socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post before giving it to the National Park Service.
