Who is Aaron Kaufman from “Shifting Gears”?

Aaron Kaufman was born on the 26th January 1982, in Crowley, Texas USA, and is a mechanic and car designer, but best known to the world for his appearance in the reality TV series “Fast N’ Loud” from 2012 to 2018.

Early Life and Education

Aaron became interested in cars from an early age, but preferring to take them apart and rebuild them, rather than driving. His interest steadily improved, learning about various cars, which turned out to be a smart move, since Aaron has become one of the most respected mechanics. As his knowledge widened, Aaron found his first paid job, working as a mechanic at the Hot Rod Garage, displaying his skills so that in no time he became one of the senior employees. One day changed Aaron’s life – while at work, the famous car designer Richard Rawlings and his mechanic came into the garage, and asked for help from the best mechanic in the garage. The shop’s owner chose Aaron for the job, and he and Richard began a long-term business relationship.

Rise to Prominence

He was hired by Rawlings and started working at the latter’s hot rod shop Gas Monkey Garage, eventually becoming the master mechanic. Thanks to their success, Richard’s business was subsequently featured in the Discovery Channel’s series, “Fast N’ Loud”.

“Fast N’ Loud” (2012-2018)

The show follows Aaron, Richard and others in their daily operations, running the streets in search of cars that need attention, and after finishing restoration selling them for profit. Some of the most memorable cars on which they’ve worked while on the show include a ’67 Corvette Stingray, ’38 Ford, ’58 Corvette C1, ’69 Chevrolet Camaro, ’68 Mustang GT350 and many others, that have consistently drawn the attention of the public. The show has averaged over two million viewers per episode since its premiere on the 6th June 2012, and has made Aaron quite popular, and rich as well. He eventually left the show and the garage in late 2017.

Career Aside “Fast N’ Loud”

Back in 2011, Aaron opened his own garage, which he named Main Street Shop, which has since been featured in another reality TV series produced by Discovery Channel, “Shifting Gears”. The show premiered on the 5th March 2018, but unfortunately wasn’t very well welcomed by the public or critics. However, Aaron is not giving up on his own dream, and the show is still on.

Arclight Company

Since leaving Gas Monkey Garage, Kaufman has also launched another project, a company called Arclight, which focuses on rebuilding Ford F-100 trucks. He always had a love for these models, and now when he has money to spend, he puts all his ideas into motion, and is another venture that seems certain to increase his net worth.

Have You Wondered How Rich Aaron Kaufman Is?

Ever since he was a young boy, his dream was to become a mechanic. Well, his dream has become a reality and has provided him with a nice profit. So, let’s just see exactly how rich Aaron Kaufman is.
