First Meeting with Ali Wong
Now a successful businessman, Justin Hakuta and the successful comedian Ali Wong, met in 2010 at a wedding ceremony of their mutual friends. It was Ali who made the first move, as after the two met at a party, he invited Justin to one of her stand-up comedy nights which Justin accepted, and after her performance was over, they almost immediately became a couple.
Wedding Ceremony and First Child
Four years after their fortunate encounter, Justin and Ali held their wedding on the 27th November 2014. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Mari in November 2015, named after the writer Marie Kondo, best known for authoring “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up”. The Hakuta-Wong family welcomed the newest member in January 2018, also a daughter.
