Born Diana Meredith Olick in 1968 in New York City, USA, she is the daughter of Philip S. Olick, who is a reputed attorney and was a senior partner at Moses & Singer, a New York law firm. In regards to her education, after finishing high school Diana enrolled at Columbia University, from which she obtained a degree in Comparative Literature, with a minor in Soviet Studies. Following the end of her studies, Diana got her career start at WABI-TV in Bangor, Maine. She was improving constantly, and after feeling she had outgrown her position at WABI-TV, she joined WZZM-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and then switched to KIRO-TV in Seattle, Washington State. However, this also didn’t last long, as only a few months later, Diana started looking for a new opportunity, and this time became a part of CBS News.

Gradually, Diana’s popularity increased and her role at CBS improved; from a news reporter she was made evening news anchor and also the host of “The Early Show”. She remained at CBS for seven years, after which she joined CNBC in September 2002 as a real estate correspondent, and since then has held the position. However, her role improved over the years, and she has contributed to such shows as “On the Money” (2014-2019), and also authored the show “Reality Check”, among numerous other contributions. Since joining CNBC Diana has become a national star, and one of the most praised journalists of the network. For her hard work, Diana has won an Emmy Award.
