Born Diana Meredith Olick in 1968 in New York City, USA, she is the daughter of Philip S. Olick, who is a reputed attorney and was a senior partner at Moses & Singer, a New York law firm. However, this also didn’t last long, as only a few months later, Diana started looking for a new opportunity, and this time became a part of CBS News.

Gradually, Diana’s popularity increased and her role at CBS improved; from a news reporter she was made evening news anchor and also the host of “The Early Show”. She remained at CBS for seven years, after which she joined CNBC in September 2002 as a real estate correspondent, and since then has held the position.
