Margo was interested in the performing arts from an early age, from beauty pageantry to dancing and acting; she made her debut in 1997 as an 11-year-old, portraying Jolie in the family comedy film “The Elf Who Didn’t Believe”, starring next to Sean Donnelly and Rich Mann. After her debut, Margo took a short break, focusing on her education, and then in 2000 she was chosen for the part of Tawny Dean in the Disney Channel series “Even Stevens” – the show became quite popular, turning Margo into a star, and she then starred in the sitcom “Run of the House” (2003-2004) on WB, next to Joey Lawrence, Sasha Barrese and Kyle Howard.

As her career progressed and her name became known in Hollywood, Margo was chosen for the part of Gina in the comedy film “Fellowship” in 2005, which was her first big-screen role. After the first film role, Margo decided to continue to pursue her career on the big screen, and was cast as the lead female in the horror thriller “Simon Says” co-starring next to Crispin Glover and Greg Cipes, and also starred in the drama film “Hiding Victoria”, portraying the titular character, next to Anita Gillette and Michael Wiseman, among other stars, both in 2006.
