Early Life and Education
Fetty Wap was raised by his parents in Paterson, New Jersey. At a very young age, he contracted congenital glaucoma in both of his eyes, and doctors managed to save only one, replacing the other with an ocular prosthesis. Regarding his education, he went to Eastside High School.

In June of 2015, Fetty Wap released his second single – “679” featuring Remy Boyz – which was followed by another one entitled “My Way” in collaboration with Monty, both of which entered the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and achieved platinum certifications as well, increasing further his popularity and success. Moreover, in September of the same year out came his debut self-titled studio album, which topped the US Billboard 200 chart, and gained huge commercial and critical success.
