Early Life

Acting Career

In 2001, Fox debut in “Holiday in the Sun”, a film in which she played the role of spoiled heiress Brianna Wallace. Over the next few years, she would appear in support roles in television series such as “Two and a Half Men” and “What I Like About You”. In 2004, she co-starred alongside Lindsay Lohan in the film “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen”, and was also cast in a regular role in the sitcom “Hope & Faith”, appearing during the second and third seasons before the show was cancelled.

In 2007, she got her breakthrough role when she was cast as Mikaela Banes in the film “Transformers”, based on the animated series and toys of the same name. In the film, she played the love interest of Shia LaBeaouf’s character, and received several nominations for her performance. She then signed to appear in the “Transformers” sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, and was also set to appear in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” but was not included after making controversial statements against director Michael Bay, and was fired on the order of executive Steven Spielberg. Her next film appearance would come in 2009’s “Jennifer’s Body”, which was written by Diablo Cody, and she then starred in “Jonah Hex” alongside Josh Brolin, but the film was a critical and commercial failure.

Later Work

Megan’s next project would be in the film “Passion Play”, starring alongside Mickey Rourke, but the film had poor reception during its initial screening. She would then work on the 3D documentary film “Naya Legend of the Golden Dolphins” which included a voice cast such as Kate Winslet and Ellen Page, followed by appearing in the music video of the single “Love the Way You Lie”, alongside Dominic Monaghan.

In 2012, Meghan starred in the comedy “The Dictator” with Sacha Baron Cohen, and also voiced Lois Lane in “Robot Chicken DC Comics Special”. In the following years, she appeared in a Brazilian commercial for Brahma beer, and resolved her differences with director Michael Bay so they worked together on the reboot of “Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles”. Relationships and Personal Life

Meghan started dating actor Brian Austin Green in 2004, after meeting on the set of “Hope & Faith”, becoming engaged two years later, calling it off in 2009, but resuming the following year, and marrying in a private ceremony in Maui. Their marriage would last until 2015 before Meghan filed for divorce, but again changed her mind, and the two reunited, and now have three sons together, born in 2012, 2014 and 2016. Interestingly and confusingly perhaps, Meghan is somewhat anti-social, and known for her general dislike of men and has stated that she is bisexual, but can only start a relationship with a woman who only likes women! However, she is still married to Brian!
