She is one of the first 20 women in the world to receive certificate number 111 from the American Meteorological Society, certifying them as a broadcast meteorologist, and she also carries American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association Seals of Approval. She has also been rewarded for her work by winning an Emmy Award three times. She has been working as a part of WABC-TV in New York City since 2011, where she mainly has a role of the weekend morning weathercaster.
