Early Life, Family, and Education

Nicole is the daughter of Rod Curtis, a garbage business owner, and his wife, Joanie Curtis; she grew up in Lake Orion with her brother, Ryan Curtis, who is now an actor. Growing up, Nicole was taught to love history and she soon developed a passion towards classic architecture. Nicole went to Lake Orion High School from which she matriculated in 1994, then enrolled in a college in Michigan to study law, but later transferred to a Florida University where she studied education.However, her path to graduation was stopped by becoming pregnant and giving birth to a child in 1999. This new situation forced her to look for a job, but without a major degree qualification, Nicole started her own business.

Career Beginnings

Before becoming a successful interior designer and home renovation expert, she started with her own cleaning business, but also attended a course to become a licensed realtor. With small steps forward, Nicole’s dreams slowly started to come true, and soon she became a licensed real estate agent, and then found her first job, renovating old homes in Minneapolis, during which time she also ran an antique business, both of which helped to increase her net worth.

She developed a routine for her work, becoming focused on World War II-period houses, doing her best to make them look like they were built in modern times. Life Behind the Scene

In 1996 she gave birth to her first child, a son named Ethan, whose father is her now ex-husband Steve Lane; the couple divorced in 2009, since when Nicole started a romantic relationship with Shane Maguire, with whom she soon started living. Nicole became pregnant with their first child, but Shane wasn’t much happy about it, which resulted in their break up. Nicole gave birth to her second son in May 2015. Since then, Nicole legal problem with her ex-boyfriend continue, who claims custody over Harper. The two have been in court for over a year.

In addition, Nicole hasn’t been on good terms with her mother, who filed a restraining order against her own daughter.
