She sued Gordon for marital misconduct, alleging a relationship with American actress and glamour model Deanna Merryman, which was followed by contra claims from Gordon’s side. An insight into the court papers showed that Sealey required ‘exclusive use of the couple’s oceanfront home in Highland Beach, Florida, valued at $9 million, as well as alimony, two cars and periodic use of their boats and an airplane’. After almost a year-and-a-half long process, in June 2013 the court awarded Brooke Sealey a ‘hefty’ settlement, the impressive sum of $15.3 million.

Prior to stepping into the limelight for her marriage with prosperous NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon, Brooke was apparently briefly married to Philip Wegner. However, after one of the most lucrative divorce settlements in the history of NASCAR and in sport in general, she became romantically connected to and later married James Dixion II with whom she welcomed a daughter, Ella Gordon, named after her ex husband. However, this marriage was ended after Dixion filed for divorced, claiming that ‘it is absolutely inappropriate for the child to be legally named after Jeff Gordon who is neither the father nor a blood relative’, and asking for alimony worth $10,000, a car and a $1.5 million valued house.
