Early life and education

Colleen spent her entire childhood in Philadelphia with her family and two younger siblings, but she rarely talks about them and therefore not much is known of them. Her father is said to have been a pilot who is now teaching people how to fly, and her mother was a housewife before the two divorced which forced her to find another job. Colleen is said to have been living with her mother after the divorce, while maintaining a close bond with her father as well – she was in love with airplanes because of her father’s career, but hasn’t considered it as her career path.

After she matriculated from a local high school, Colleen enrolled at Drexel University, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications – she was an extraordinary student, and was praised for both her performances in high school and at university.

Career of a reporter

Soon after she got her degree, Colleen started working for the WIP sports radio station based in Philadelphia – she was in charge of reporting for the morning shows, which helped her to further develop her editing and producing skills. She also learned how to function as a team player, because she was part of a team collecting money for footballer Terrell Owens, after a problem with one of his contracts.

Colleen felt ready to quit WIP, and switched to CN8 where she worked as an anchor – she wasn’t part of the team for too long as she moved to Comcast SportsNet Organization, to work as their on-air reporter and producer. She didn’t spend much time there either, and in 2012 began working for FOX 29 as their sports reporter – she was the producer of the “Phil’s Postgame” show for PHL17 station and anchored the “Golf Show”, which was airing on the CSN channel.

Colleen’s dreams came true when she started working for the NFL network – she is currently serving as their host and is considered to be one of the best presenters and anchors in the broadcasting industry. She can be seen in their shows such as “Game Day”, “Good Morning Football Weekend”, “Power Rankings”, and “Around the NFL”.
