Early Life, and Education

David is of Vietnamese descent – his parents moved from Vietnam to Canada in 1990, a year before he was born. He grew up in Ottawa and took up his education there. As a child, he was sickly and experienced a lot of fevers during this period, but eventually overcame his health problems, and began excelling in school. During his teens, he began learning the piano, but wasn’t really interested, so he discontinued his lessons.

While he was bullied in elementary school, he later made a lot of friends in middle school and high school. He started focusing on math and science as primary subjects although a little more difficult. He took up his high school studies at St. Patrick’s Catholic High School which is located in Sarnia, Ontario – it’s now the only secondary school in the area as it was merged with St. Christopher’s Secondary School in 2013. After matriculating from high school, he then moved to complete his college education, but there are no details as to this period of his life.

Prior to entering college, David became interested in creating videos with friends, but never really thought about sharing his work online. His parents wanted him to pursue a field in medical science, but he was never really interested in it. He then discovered the website YouTube and became addicted to it, often spending time watching videos. Two years later, he decided that he would try his hand at creating and uploading his own content.
