Elvira was born in New York City, USA, on 7 July 1972 – her zodiac sign is Cancer, and she holds American nationality. She’s a screenwriter, while she’s probably known best for being a member of the Wayans family, most of whom are today highly successful in the film industry, including Elvira’s brothers Damon Kyle and Keenen Ivory Desuma.
Early life and education
Elvira was raised in New York City, alongside her five brothers Keenen, Damon, Marlon, Dwayne and Shawn, and her four sisters Vonnie, Diedra, Kim and Nadia, by their father Howell Stouten Wayans who was a supermarket manager, and their mother Elvira Alethia (nee Green) who was a singer and social worker.
Unlike some of her siblings who began pursuing a career in the film industry from a very early age, Elvira had a rather normal childhood. She attended a local elementary school, and was mostly interested in playing sports with her peers during her time there. He’s appeared in more than 40 movies and TV series, while he’s probably still known best for his portrayal of the lead character Jimmy Dix in the 1991 action crime comedy movie “The Last Boy Scout”. It was directed by Tony Scott, also starred Bruce Willis and Chelsea Field, and follows a private detective who’s investigating the murder of his protected witness, together with her boyfriend; the movie was nominated for two awards.
Damon became interested in acting while attending Murry Bergtraum High School, and he was also into sports, playing basketball for his school’s team. He matriculated in 1978 and then worked various jobs for the following a couple of years, prior to launching his career as a stand-up comedian in 1982.
