The Riches of Dopeisland

How rich is Dopeisland? As of mid-2019, sources inform us of a net worth that is over $100,000, earned through a successful career on social media. His online fame has led him to numerous opportunities including collaborations with other popular names. As he continues his endeavors, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Early Life and Online Beginnings

Very little is known about Dopeisland’s life before his online fame, with no details regarding his family, childhood, and education. It is known that he was very interested in social media at a young age, though never really thought of himself as someone who would become a star. He created his Vine account thinking that he’d only watch videos on the platform.

Vine is a short form video hosting service in which users could share looping clips which lasted for six seconds. It was owned by Twitter and had its own social network in which videos were published. These videos could also be shared on other platforms such as Twitter on Facebook. During the peak of its popularity, it was a strong competitor to Instagram and had around 200 million active users. Users could easily browse content through theme or trending videos.

After being only a viewer, Dopeisland decided that he would make his own Vine videos, which initially included his personal views on various topics such as current events, music, fashion and sports, often leading to a comedic outcome. He also collaborated a lot with his friends. Soon, his popularity would increase significantly, thanks to the social media app.

Transition to Other Platforms

During the peak of Dopeisland’s fame on Vine, he had amassed over two million followers however, in 2016, it was announced that all uploads to the platform would be disabled – viewing and use of the app was still allowed, but after a year it was shut down, with videos then uploaded to an online archive.

Like many Viners, he then transitioned to another online platform, settling on creating an account on Instagram, a service owned by Facebook, which allows users to upload their own photo or video content. One of its main selling points is its integration with other social media platforms and its ease of use, allowing uploaders to easily edit or organize their content. It was created in 2010, and has since become one of the most popular services in the world with over a billion registered users. There are 500 million active users daily, and its fame has led to the rise of numerous Instagram-famous online personalities.

Other Endeavors

While managing his Instagram account, he also had a YouTube account which is another avenue many Vine stars opted for after the latter was shut down, and is a video-sharing website and one of the most popular in the world. He’s mostly uploaded compilation videos and re-posts of some of his most popular Vines on his channel, but later lost interest as the channel was just a means to upload his old Vine videos, and he hasn’t uploaded to his YouTube channel in over two years.

He also started to gain other acting projects such as “Camp Unplug”, which was Vine’s attempt at an original series in which various Vine personalities attended a digital detox camp. In recent months, he’s done segments for the company Foot Locker, which is a sportswear and footwear retailer, working specifically for their outlet called House of Hoops in its promotion of new apparel related to basketballer LeBron James, and which are often comedy related. He’s also worked for the fast food franchise Wendy’s, which is known for being one of the largest hamburger fast food chains in the world, competing against McDonald’s and Burger King.

Personal Life and Social Media

For his personal life, not much is known about Dopeisland’s romantic relationships. Many sources state that he in a relationship, but haven’t specified any details. He posted about having a girlfriend in 2019 which indicates that the relationship is still going strong. He is known to be very close to his friends, as they have a very tight social circle. One of his most frequent collaborators is MeechOnMars, who is also a YouTube personality. Dopeisland is also a very big fan of both the music industry and the fashion industry, keeping a close eye on both.

Similar to numerous Vine personalities, he is highly active online through social media, with one of his strongest presences on the website Instagram with over 1.5 million followers, and one of the reasons why numerous companies contact him to do advertising work, leading to a lot of income. He also has a Twitter account which has over 470,000 followers, on which he mainly posts some of his day to day endeavors, including thoughts, activities and opinions. He often posts at least once a day, sometimes several times within a day.
