While in Chapman University, Lim started working as a host for “TV Orange”, while also serving as an executive producer for many of their programs. She stayed there for three years, up to her graduation, and after graduating moved to Singapore to begin working for E! Asia as an on-air correspondent. This division of E! focuses on Southeast Asia, and is owned by NBCUniversal. It began operations in 2007 and its programing has a focus on celebrity reality shows.
She was involved in coverage of entertainment, fashion, music, film, and pop culture. During her time there, she also started her own company called Black Pearl Production, but her career would really take off, when she began hosting the show called “The Rundown”.
