Gradually, his name was becoming more known, which resulted in new offers from bigger television networks. As a result, in 2003 he was recruited by CNN, where he remained until 2012, during which time Rob became an occasional reporter as well as their meteorologist, while also serving as a stand-in anchor in CNN Worldwide’s Atlanta headquarters.

Rob’s career was becoming more successful, and in 2012, he joined “Entertainment Tonight”, where he served as the co-anchor of the nightly thirty-minute edition of the program, as well as the sixty-minute weekend edition.
