The NBC affiliate is known for several syndicated programs including talk-shows, and soap operas. She then moved to WVVA located in Bluefield where she had her first on-screen role as a reporter and morning anchor. It is also an NBC affiliated station serving the Bluefield, Beckley, and Oak Hill market in West Virginia. She stayed there for another two years before moving to Fox Charlotte in 2006 as a news reporter as well as an anchor.
The station served-up 48 and a half hours of locally produced newscasts on a weekly basis. During her time there, she reported on numerous stories within the area, including taxi drivers who discriminated againstthe disabled, and a woman who swindled military men across the country. She stayed there for three years, gaining a reputation as a brave reporter with a record of accuracy. Her next station would be WXIN-TV, which is a Fox affiliate serving Indianapolis and nearby areas.

In 2012, Eva joined the television station WPVI which is an ABC-owned station based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The station airs as 6 ABC and her work as an anchor for the station led her to eventually be promoted to join the main news division of the American Broadcasting Company. ABC is known for its daily evening newscast called “ABC World News Tonight with David Muir”. They are also popular for their morning news talk show “Good Morning America”, and the Sunday morning political affairs program entitled “This Week with George Stephanopoulos”. Eva continued to record achievements as a reporter, covering various national events such as the Pope’s visit to the US. She also covered the Indiana State Fair stage collapse, when a gust from an approaching thunderstorm caused the temporary roof structure of the stage to collapse, killing seven people. She also covered the 2017 Amtrak Cascades derailment, which led to the train crushing automobiles with three people dying in the accident. Another event she covered heavily was the Sago Mine disaster, which was a coal mine explosion in Sago, West Virginia, and is considered one of the worst disasters in the state, trapping 13 miners, with only one survivor after the rescue efforts.
Personal Life and Social Media
For her personal life, it is known that Pilgrim is in a relationship with Micah Caskey, who is a criminal prosecutor; the two have been spotted numerous times in public as well as on social media together. While they have not actively spoken out about their relationship, it is an open secret that they are together. According to him, she is obsessed with skin care. She is also doing her best to try and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
