Who is Chris Olsen?
American actor and social media star Chris Olsen was born under the zodiac sign Capricorn on 22 December 1997, in Washington, DC USA. He has just five acting credits, and is perhaps known best for starring as Chad Harris in the comedy series “Broken Dreams”, which also stars Marco DelVecchio, Sterling Jones and Jack Plotnick, and was created by Daniel Michael Siyoum and Brandon Schinaman. It follows the lives of a group of social media stars and the series has won three of its nine award nominations.
Chris is currently shooting for the upcoming movie “1660 Vine”, as well as for new episodes of the series “Broken Dreams”.
Early life and education
Chris was raised in Washington, DC by his parents, about whom he prefers not to speak in public because he respects their privacy; it’s widely believed that Chris’ mother’s a real estate agent and his father a businessman, but this remains unconfirmed. Most people believe Chris to be an only child, as he hasn’t talked about having siblings.
He studied at a local high school in Washington, DC and was passionate about multiple activities during his time there, as he enjoyed appearing in school plays, often portraying lead characters, took dance lessons and played volleyball.
Chris matriculated in 2016, and then enrolled in Berkley’s School of Music at Boston Conservatory, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2020.
Chris’ career
Chris’ debut TV series role was playing Epaminodas in the 2022 episode “Queens’ Work Makes the Team Work” of the comedy “The Book of Queer”, which starred Riley Westling, Eric Cervini and Nate Timmerman, and was created by Eric Cervini. It follows the lives of several historical and groundbreaking queer individuals, and the series was nominated for eight awards.
In 2022, he appeared in the music video “Meghan Trainor: Made You Look”, and Chris’ only other acting credit has been appearing in another 2022 music video “Renee Rapp: Too Well”.
YouTube channel
Chris launched his self-titled YouTube channel on 23 December 2012, and all his 20 videos combined have been viewed nearly two million times; the channel’s today subscribed to by close to 30,000 people. Most of Chris’ videos feature him during his everyday life, while others show him singing either alone or with his friends; we’ll be writing about the three most viewed videos amongst these.
His #1 viewed video “YOUNG & BEAUTIFUL (LANA DEL REY) COVER | CHRIS OLSEN & SRI” has been watched close to 1.5 million times since 5 September 2022, and features Chris and Sri covering Lana Del Rey’s song “Young and Beautiful”.
Chris’ second most popular video “I CAN’T BELIEVE I GOT THIS DM #shorts” has been watched over 30,000 times since 6 September 2022 and has amassed over 1,000 likes; it features Chris receiving a text which reads ‘I don’t think gays should have rights’.
His #3 video “#Ad HOW’S MY SINGING??? @statefarm #GoodNeighbor #shorts” has been watched over 30,000 times since 4 January 2023 and has amassed over 1,100 likes; it features Chris speaking about how his family threw parties for the entire neighborhood while he was growing up.
Presence on the internet
Chris is active on various social media networks and more than 1.5 million people are following him on Instagram today, while he’s posted more than 630 pictures and videos onto it; most show him singing, dancing and spending time with his friends.
Chris has until recently had a Twitter account onto which he often shared his thoughts with his fans, however, he’s now deleted the account for unknown reasons.
He also has a Facebook page followed by over 3,000 people, but Chris isn’t as active on Facebook as on his other social media accounts; his most recent update was on 21 August 2021, when he uploaded a video of him pulling a prank on his now-former boyfriend.
Chris is followed by more than 12 million people on TikTok, and has amassed over 1.1 billion likes of all his videos combined, with most of them featuring him telling jokes, pulling pranks on his friends and family and attending parties.
Love life and relationships
Chris is quite open when it comes to speaking about his love life in public, and we know that he’s gay and supports the LGBT community.
He was once in a relationship with famous British-American actor, model and social media star Ian Paget; the two chatted on the internet prior to being introduced by a mutual friend at the 2019 Worldwide Event. Ian has eight acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying Audition Dancer in the 2022 episode “Four Geniuses” of the popular biographical mini-series “Welcome to Chippendales”.
Chris and Ian had created a lot of content together, until they broke up on 12 January 2022.
There are no other men whom Chris has perhaps been with, that we know about; he seems to be unattached as of October 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Chris enjoys working out at the gym and has multiple training sessions every week; some of his Instagram videos show him working out, as he enjoys teaching his fans about which exercises are best for which muscles.
He loves to party and drink alcohol.
Chris enjoys wearing women’s clothes, especially heels, and his Instagram account is filled with videos and pictures which feature him dressing as a woman.
He’s into travelling and has been to a number of US states, mostly to attend various red carpet events; it’s believed that Chris hasn’t been to Europe.
