Who is Rose Bertram?
Belgian model Stephanie Rose Bertram was born in Kortrijk, Belgium, on 26 October 1994, making Scorpio her zodiac sign. She’s modeled for many famous brands and companies, and has also become a social media star; Rose is followed by more than 1.1 million people on Instagram and has posted over 4,200 pictures onto the network, most of which have been taken during her modelling photoshoots, while others show her during her everyday life, whether she’s spending quality times with her children, relaxing close to the sea , or attending various events.
Education and early life
Rose was raised alongside her two sisters in Flanders, Belgium, by their mother who’s of Senegalese, Angolan and Portuguese descent, but whose name remains undisclosed, and Belgian father Dave Bertram who’s of British descent; Dave’s today a businessman, while Rose’s mother’s a homemaker.
Rose grew up being interested in various activities, as she learned to ride horses, took dance lessons and played the piano, and one can say that she was thrown into the modelling industry because her mother signed her to a modelling agency a couple of months after she had turned 13.
Rose matriculated in 2013, and then chose to focus on her career rather than to pursue a college degree.
Rose’s career
Rose was 16 when she signed a contract with the modelling agency Dominique, and it was around this time that she began attracting attention. She attended a photoshoot with German fashion and fine-arts photographer Juergen Teller for the magazine “Jambox”, and this photoshoot turned out to be the breakthrough that she needed.
Rose has since walked the catwalk for brands and companies such as Primark, L’Oreal and H&M, and has been featured in a number of magazines, including “Galore” and “Oyster”. She was 18 when she moved permanently to the USA and signed with the modelling agency Marilyn, while she’s today also signed to SPIN Model Management (Hamburg, Germany), Two Management (Los Angeles, California USA), and The Squad (London, England).

Rose became the first Belgian model to be featured in the popular magazine “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue” in 2015.
She launched her acting career in 2016, when cast to appear in the episode “Rose Bertram” of the action “Love Advent”, which starred Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner, and aired from 2011 through 2018; it’s a compilation of shorts films which star famous models.
YouTube videos
Rose is also a YouTuber; she launched her self-titled channel on 22 December 2012 and has since posted 22 videos, which have all together been watched nearly 1.5 million times. More than 30,000 people are today subscribed to her channel, and she mostly uploads videos which show her spending time with her children; we’re going to cover the three most popular amongst these, which’ve contributed the most to her internet popularity.

Her #3 most watched video “16 weeks pregnancy Q&A – Rose Bertram” was posted on 17 September 2017, and has since been viewed nearly 130,000 times; it features Rose answering her fans’ questions about her pregnancy.
Presence on the internet
Rose is active on a number of social media networks; she launched her Twitter account in June 2009 and has since tweeted close to 14,000 times. More than 50,000 people are following her today, and most of her tweets are about the fashion industry and modelling.
Rose is also active on Facebook and her page numbers over 150,000 followers, but her most recent update was on 23 December 2020; it seems that Rose prefers to maintain her other social media accounts over the one on Facebook.
She’s steadily building a fanbase for herself on TikTok, as over 60,000 people are following her on this network, and all her videos combined have amassed nearly 900,000 likes; most feature her travelling, while others show her swimming, dancing and singing.
Boyfriend and children
Rose doesn’t shy away from speaking about her love life in public, especially on YouTube, but there’s still only one man whom she’s been with, that we know about. She was 17 when she began dating Dutch former professional soccer player Gregory Kurtley van der Wiel in 2012, and the two then spent some time living together in Paris, France; after he was transferred to the Turkish team Fenerbahce, they moved together to Istanbul.
Rose gave birth to their first daughter Naleya Rose in February 2018, and their second daughter Zaylee Rose followed in February 2021; Rose and Gregory broke up in 2022.
Rose seems to be single as of August 2023, hasn’t married and has two daughters with former boyfriend Gregory Kurtley van der Wiel.

Rose is passionate about travelling, and has been all around the world for both work and pleasure; she mostly enjoys vacationing on islands as she loves being close to bodies of water, and enjoys the feeling of sun on her skin. Her favorite season is summer.
