“Basketball Wives”
Bailey joined the cast of the reality show “Basketball Wives” in its second season. She served as the replacement for the TV personality Imani Showalter, who is the ex-fiancé of the retired NBA star, Stephen Jackson. The original cast included Jennifer Williams, the wife of the former NBA player Eric Williams, the ex-fiancé of Antonie D. Walker, Evelyn Loanda, Jermaine O’Neal’s wife, Mesha O’Neal, and Shaquille O’Neal’s wife Shaunie O’Neal, among others. The TV show revolves around the daily lives of current and former spouses of NBA stars and explores their dramatic nightlives and scandalous social lives. Brooke appeared in the second, third, and fourth seasons, and then in its tenth season.

Bailey’s Daughter, Kailey’s Death
Brooke’s only daughter sadly passed away in the early Sunday morning of 25 September 2022, after she was involved in a traffic collision in the Hollywood neighborhood of Tennessee. According to the police report, Kailey was a passenger in a car that rammed into a tractor-trailer, killing her and the driver (Julius Weaver) on the spot. She was laid to rest on 17 October that year. Brooke announced the news of her daughter’s death on Instagram shortly after the accident. She posted Kailey’s photos and captioned them “Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey…This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon.” She went on to thank all the people who showed support and love to her family.
