He’s appeared in more than 60 movies and TV series, while he’s probably known best for his portrayal of the main character Roman Pearce, in the critically acclaimed 2003 action crime thriller movie “2 Fast 2 Furious”, directed by John Singleton, and which also starred Paul Walker and Cole Hauser. It follows a former police officer Brian O’Connor, who’s helping his former colleagues bust a criminal gang; the movie won four of the 17 awards for which it was nominated, and after which Tyrese reprised his role in the sequels “Fast Five” (2011), “Fast & Furious 6” (2013) and “F9: The Fast Saga” (2021).
