Jackie Ibanez is a popular experienced Fox News correspondent, who has also worked at News 12 and WWLP-TV. She even once tried to escape the field of journalism, but soon returned to her anchor and reporter position. Let’s find out more about her family, husband, kids, salary, etc.
Early life and family
Jackie Ibanez was born on 7 November 1985, in Logan, Utah US, so under the sign of Scorpio, and holding American nationality. Not much is known about Jackie’s family, as she tries to keep her private life low-key.
She posted photos of her mother several times on her Instagram account who, name is still unknown, came to stay with Jackie before her second labor. Jackie posted their photos captioning them with words of gratitude and kindness for everything her mother did for her in her childhood and further life. Nothing is known about Jackie’s father, however, it is known that they are a Mormon family, but Jackie’s maiden name is also a mystery. She spent all her childhood and youth in Logan.
Jackie matriculated from Sky View High School in 2003, then continued her education at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, which is a private institution, graduating in 2007 with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. As a hard-working person, Jackie started her internship while she was still studying at university, working as an intern for MSNBC News and NBC Sport.
Right after her graduation, Jackie was offered a job with WWLP-TV, a local station in Massachusetts, taking into consideration her successful internship, in the position of a producer. She was soon promoted to become a reporter and anchor.
In 2010 Jackie decided to leave her working place and journalism in general, for reasons she never revealed (no one knows whether there was a kind of controversy or just emotional burning out – Jackie never confirmed any of these versions). She left WWLP-TV after three years to become managing director of the public relation company “Coltrin & Associates”. However, it took Jackie only a year to realise how badly she missed journalism, So, in 2011 she accepted the offer from News 12 in Connecticut to become a freelance reporter and anchor. Until December 2014 she also held the position of the weekend morning anchor at the same network, and then left the company to take-up new career opportunities.
After leaving News 12, Jackie was not sitting at home, as she was to hold the position of a news correspondent as Fox News Network, a very prestigious and respected company among both the audience and the journalists. From 2015 Jackie also worked on such Fox News projects as “Fox and Friends”, “Fox and Friends First”, on which the audience could see Jackie from 2017 to 2018, and “Red Eye with Tom Shillue”, on which Jackie was a co-host and a correspondent in 2017, including once interviewing Melania Trump. All those shows and projects along with her correspondent activities raised her prominence to a very high level.
As for now, she holds the position of an overnight breaking news anchor.
Personal life, husband Edie Ibanez
As a true Mormon, Jackie hides most details of her personal life from random eyes. It is only known that she has been married to Edie Ibanez for some time, though Jackie never shared the exact date of their marriage. She sometimes posts her selfies with her husband, but doesn’t share anything private at all. It is also known that Edie and Jackie have three kids – two daughters, Dakota (born in 2012) and J.J. (born in 2015), and a son, Vince Bo (born on 19 December 2017).
Jackie often posts photos with her kids on her Instagram account, saying she tried to spend as much time with her children as she can, also admitting that’s not as often as she and they would want. Jackie once posted a letter she got from her older daughter Dakota, when she was six years old – Dakota missed her much and wanted to see her mother after school, asking Jackie to come and spend some time with her. Jackie had to admit she had no chance to meet her daughter after school, coming back home late from a busy working day. However, she often takes her kids on various trips and to weekend entertainment, so they don’t feel neglected.
Hobbies and interesting facts
Jackie’s favorite food is rice pudding… and chocolate. However, she tries to stick to a healthy diet and does a lot of sports, working out at home and in the gym – depending on how tight her working schedule is. Among her favorite male actors are Jack Nicholson and Danny de Vito. She likes taking care of her hair, and often shares various products she uses to keep her hair beautiful and originally styled.
