Early life and education
Jared spent his entire childhood in Massachusetts with his father Patrick and his mother Ellyn, raised alongside his sister Jenna. He is somewhat secretive when it comes to his parents, as he has learned to appreciate their privacy – he rarely talks about his sister, except mentioning that she is a data programmer currently working in the Children and Family Service Bureau of the State of Rhode Island.
Jared becomes secretive when asked about his early life and the years he spent in high school. Apparently he was always interested in sports, especially baseball, and he gave it a shot but wasn’t that good at it. Instead, he turned his focus to writing about baseball, as he was and still is very passionate about both baseball and writing.

One can say that Jared’s career was launched when he was 16, as he started a MySpace blog back then with the tag SoxSport. During the time he spent maintaining his blog, he was writing about the Boston Rex Sox baseball team as he was a big fan, and he also wrote about the World Series of 2007.
Even though he did not expect his blog to become popular, it was named the Best Red Sox Blog of 2009 and 2011, while it also received the title of the Best Overall New England Sports Blog of 2011. Simultaneously, Jared was writing his book leading to the release of “One Fan’s Story: If This Hat Could Talk” in 2009 – in 2012, he became part of the New England Baseball Journal, serving as their writer.
Jared worked for the Journal until the summer of 2014, when he switched to Barstool Sports. He’s been part of their team ever since, and is focused on covering stories related to his favorite baseball team – the Boston Rex Sox, a Major League Baseball team.
Besides writing, Jared is an anchor of the “Starting 9” baseball podcast, “Section 10 Podcast”, and “From the Top Tope” which is a podcast about wrestling. Jared was also working for “The Sports Hub” 98.5 radio station as well as some others.

Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox is an American professional baseball team, founded in 1901 with Fenway Park being their home ballpark ever since 1912 – the team got its name in 1908, given by John I. Taylor who was the team’s owner. They are competing in Major League Baseball (MLB) and are part of the American League East division – the team has won nine World Series championships, and they hold third place when it comes to the total number of victories.
Boston was one of the best teams after it was founded and nobody was able to beat them during the 1903 World Series – they had won a total of five championships by 1918. However, after their player Babe Ruth was sold to the New York Yankees that year, it was as a curse was set upon them, as it took them 86 years to win their next World Championship, in 2004. They went on to win the 2007, 2013, and the 2018 championships becoming the first team to win four of these championships this century.
The team is currently owned by Fenway Sports Group ,which is also owns the popular Liverpool football club that competes in the Premier League in England.
Love life and relationships
Jared is quite secretive when it comes to his love life and past and present relationships, as he hasn’t shared almost nothing about it with his fans. Although he is often questioned about his affairs, Jared always finds a way not to answer anyone’s questions.
However, it seems that he hasn’t had much luck with love so far, as he stated that he had a girlfriend some time ago but she left him for someone else, and is now married to this man.
