JoJo Offerman Wiki: Age, Childhood, and Education

Born Joseann Alexie Offerman on the 10th March 1994, in Los Angeles, California USA, she is the daughter of the former professional baseball player, Jose Offerman. Of Dominican ancestry, unfortunately there is no information about JoJo’s mother, nor if she is a single child or has siblings. According to some sources, JoJo had a sister who recently died – Jo hasn’t shared her name, or how she passed away. For her education, JoJo attended John Burroughs High School, from which she matriculated in 2012.

Career Beginnings

A year after her matriculation, JoJo became a part of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and was approached by E! Network to feature in the new reality show “Total Divas”, which would follow her career endeavors, but also her personal life. Before she made her wrestling debut, JoJo introduced herself to the fans as a singer, as she sang the entrance theme for Tons of Funk with The Funkadactyls, comprised of Cameron and Naomi, professional wrestlers.

She made a couple more on-screen appearances, including in which she performed the US national anthem at SummerSlam on the 18th August 2013, before she teamed up with Natalya and Eva Marie for her first fight, facing Alicia Fox, Aksana, and Rosa Mendes. However, JoJo, although a part of the team, she was never tagged into the match, and her first ring fight was on the 25th November when she pinned Tamina Snuka in the match against The True Davis, which consists of Fox, Aksana, Divas Champion AJ, Tamina Snuka, Summer Rae, Mendes, and Kaitlyn. A night before, Total Divas and True Divas faced off in an elimination tag-team match at the Survivor Series.

Ring Announcer

Since late 2013, JoJo hasn’t been scheduled for fights, instead being focused on her work as a ring announcer, and has become quite popular. She joined the WWE’s developmental territory NXT and decided not to return to “Total Divas” for its second season. Since then, JoJo has become a national star and been included into the WWE main roster and can now be seen and heard announcing main events, Smackdown fights, pay-per-view matches, and has also conducted interviews with wrestlers behind the scenes.
