He went to Palo Verde High School, and later majored in electrical engineering.
However, he switched his studies after an epiphany moment struck him in his third year, and then started postgraduate studies in creative writing.
To speak of his career, Garry is best known for his “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show”, and “The Larry Sanders Show”, which made him a star in the industry.
He passed away on the 24th March 2016 after several years of suffering from hyperparathyroidism – the cause of death was later discovered to be a pulmonary embolism.
