Megan launched her career during her first year of studies at the Arizona State University – she was working as an Assignment Editor for the Cronkite NewsWatch, while her responsibilities included working at the front desk, informing the news director of the best stories and press conference of the day, and checking with other stations to find out about stories and breaking news for reporters. She stayed with Cronkite from September 2011 to May 2012 before leaving to start working for Know 99 Television, working as a reporter and an intern, but also doing numerous other things such as video editing, cross discipline producing, and writing. She left the station in August 2012 and started working for The Arizona Republic as their Breaking News Reporter – she was working for the “RightThisMinute” TV program simultaneously, serving as their e-journalist and intern.

She quit both of those jobs by May 2013 when she became part of the CNN HLN and InSession team as their Production Assistant – she only stayed with them for a month before she switched to working as a producer for Cronkite News, but stayed only five months with there.

Her first somewhat serious job was for the KAET TV station, as a reporter and an anchor – she was in charge of finding and investigating stories in the community and the state for the live show on “PBS NewsHour Weekend”. During the one year and four months which she spent there, she won the Society of Professional Journalist Television Breaking News Reporting Award, and was the third place winner for Television News Anchor in the Student News Broadcast Education Association Awards.

In May 2015, she began working for The E.W. Scripps Company as their reporter and a multimedia journalist at KGUN9 TV station. She stayed with them until July 2016 when she became part of the ABC 15 Arizona team ,and has been working as their morning reporter and a fill-in anchor ever since.

Although Megan is not an actress, she appeared as a reporter and anchor in the “Different Similarities” short comedy film in 2013, “Tom Holland’s Twisted Tales” horror movie in 2014, and in the “No Men Beyond This Point” comedy science fiction movie in 2015.
