Who is Naledi Makel Murray?

American child actress Naledi Makel Murray was born under the zodiac sign Scorpio on 8 November 2010, in the USA. She has nine acting credits, and is perhaps known best for portraying Wendy in 12 episodes of the action adventure series “Sweet Tooth”, which stars Adeel Akhtar, Christian Convery and Nonso Anozie, and was created by Beth Schwartz and Jim Mickle in 2021. It follows a half-human half-deer boy as he’s surviving in a post-apocalyptic world with other hybrid humans; the series has won 10 of its 24 award nominations.

Education and early life

Naledi’s being raised in the US by her mother Nicole Murray who’s a stuntwoman and film producer, and father Malcolm Murray who’s a stuntman; she hasn’t mentioned whether or not she has siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.

Naledi studied at a local elementary school and was passionate about a number of activities during her time there; she was only six when she began taking piano and guitar lessons, while she then also began practicing both dancing and acting. Naledi’s studied a number of dance styles, including tap, modern and ballet, and she’s also become interested in doing yoga and practicing martial arts.

It’s believed that she’s being homeschooled as to have more time for acting, and the numerous activities in which she takes part every day; Naledi should then be taking her GED tests in 2028.

Roles in TV series

Naledi’s debut TV series role was playing Tasha in the 2018 episode “Matters of Life and Death” of the crime mini-series “Seven Seconds”, which starred Michael Mosley, Beau Knapp and Clare-Hope Ashitey, and was created by Veena Sud. It follows the tensions between Caucasian police officers and African-American citizens in Jersey City, after an African-American teenager’s been critically injured by a police officer; and the mini-series won eight of its 20 award nominations.

In 2018, Naledi played Dee in the episode “Fish Out of Water” of the drama “Division Street”, and the year 2019 saw her play Imani in five episodes of the comedy “First Wives Club”, which was created by Tracy Oliver in 2019 and today stars RonReaco Lee, Michelle Buteau and Jill Scott. It follows the lives of three divorced women, and the series was nominated for a 2020 Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series (Jill Scott).

Also in 2019, Naledi played Maddie in the episode “Enter: Ishtar” of the comedy “All Hail Beth”, which starred Marguerite Genard, Layla Khoshnoudi and Ashley Monique Menard, and was created by Misha Calvert. It’s a ‘modern comedy with an ancient twist’ and the series was nominated for two awards.

In 2019 and 2020, Naledi voiced Bady Fly, Millie and Magots in six episodes of the short animated adventure “The Bug Diaries”, which starred Nilah, Logan Smith and Abigail Dylan Harrison, and was created by Allan Neuwirth. It follows a group of bug friends as they’re attending preschool.

The year 2020 saw Naledi play Luna in five episodes of the popular drama “Tommy”, which starred Adelaide Clemens, Michael Chernus and Edie Falco, and was created by Paul Attanasio; it follows new Chief of Police of Los Angeles who was formerly a high-raking New York Police Department officer.

Naledi’s only other TV series role has been playing Shelby McGibbons in two episodes of the critically acclaimed 2022 crime mystery mini-series “The Undoing”, which starred Noah Jupe, Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman, and was created by David E. Kelly. It follows a wealthy therapist from New York City whose family’s become involved in a murder case; the mini-series won two of its 39 award nominations.

Roles in movies

Naledi’s appeared in only a single movie, portraying Girl in Lobby in the 2018 comedy “The Land of Steady Habits”, which starred Thomas Mann, Natalie Gold and Ben Mendelsohn, and was written and directed by Nicole Holofcener; it follows Anders who’s just left his wife and quit his job in pursuit of happiness, and has befriended a teenager addicted to drugs.

Friends and dating

Naledi’s a highly social girl and has many friends, most of whom she’s met while taking dance lessons and while shooting for her TV series; she’s featured a number of them in her Instagram pictures.

Naledi’s widely believed to be too young to be dating, however, some of her fans have claimed that she perhaps has a crush on a fellow child actor with whom she’s been seen spending time off set on multiple occasions, while she’s also featured him in a couple of her Instagram pictures and videos – however, Naledi’s yet to address these rumors. She seems to be currently focused on her career and isn’t pursuing boys.

Her account’s being managed by her parents due to her being too young to be ‘alone on the internet’.

Naledi loves animals and her favorites are dogs, but her parents don’t seem to allow her to have a pet.

She’s recently begun taking boxing and baseball lessons, as it’s necessary for one of her upcoming projects.
