In mid-2012 she spent three months learning the ‘tricks of the trade’ as an intern at the ABC’s and MyNetworkTV’s dual affiliated television station WTVO-TV Channel 17 in Rockford, Illinois.

Upon completing her studies and obtaining her BS degree, in October 2013 Mead transferred to Twin Falls, Idaho, where she joined the CBS’s affiliated television station KMVT for which she began her ‘tenure’ as a meteorologist, forecasting the weather on weekends, while occasionally filling in for the evening and morning shows as well. She subsequently joined KMVT’s sister television station – the Fox’s and MyNetworkTV’s affiliated channel KSVT-LD, for which she primarily served as a weather reporter.

To a greater prominence Stephanie came in April 2015, when she relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she became a crew member of the NBC 26.
