Sean has spent some time working in the film industry as a driver, but he’s probably only known to the public for being the brother of the late American actor, dancer and singer Patrick Wayne Swayze.

Early life and education

Sean was raised in Houston alongside his sisters Vickie and Bambi (adopted), and brothers Don and Patrick, by their father Jesse Wayne Swayze who was an engineering draftsman, and their mother Patsy Swayze (nee Karnes), who was a dancer and choreographer; Jesse passed away in 1982, aged 57, and Patsy died in 2013, aged 86.

Sean grew up being interested in numerous activities, and was mostly into sports while attending Waltrip High School; he was on his school’s football team, and also played basketball and soccer. He was also interested in acting, looking up with his brother Patrick who had already launched a career in the film industry, however, even though Sean appeared in a couple of school plays, it didn’t take long for him to realize that he wasn’t as talented as Patrick to succeed as an actor.

He matriculated in 1980, and because he hasn’t spoken of his further education, most people believe that Sean didn’t attend college.

Sean’s career

Sean hasn’t shared many details about his career with the public, and it’s only known that he worked as a driver on the popular 1998 mystery crime movie “Letters from a Killer”.

It was directed by David Carson, starred his brother Patrick, Kim Myers and Gia Carides, and follows a man who was framed for killing his wife and sent to jail, and now that he’s been released, has been framed for another murder.

It’s widely believed that Sean has been working as a personal driver for the past two decades.

Love life and wife

Sean is highly secretive when it comes to sharing the details of his love life with his fans, but has still allowed them to have a glimpse into it. He married non-celebrity American woman Jami Swayze on 12 November 1988, in a private ceremony attended by only the closest of their friends and family members; it’s believed that the two were high school sweethearts, but this hasn’t been confirmed by Sean. They have a daughter, Cassie Swayze together.
