Miner made her movie debut at age 12 in Woody Allen’s 1990 fantasy romantic comedy, “Alice,” playing the young version of Alice in the Oscar Award-nominated film. Miner appeared in three more films in the ‘90s, and in the 2000s, she was seen in the 2001 crime drama “Bully,” which follows a group of South Florida teenagers plotting to kill their mutual bully who has tormented and abused them sexually, emotionally, and physically for years. She starred alongside Brad Renfro, Michael Pitt and Bijou Phillips. In 2005, she starred as Allison in the Tom Zuber-directed movie “Little Athens.”
Rachel’s following noteworthy appearances were in Joel A. Miller’s movie “The Still Life” in 2006, “The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations” in 2008, and “Life of Lemon” in the following year. Her performance in the soap opera “Guiding Light” has seen her scoop two Young Artist Awards in the categories of Best Youth Actress in a Soap Opera in 1992 and 1994.
