Other than that part, she’s failed to replicate some of her performances in “The Bold and the Beautiful”, leaving fans wondering if she still has something left in the tank.

Early Life and Education: Growing Up in Texas

Kimberley was raised by David and Karin Matula in her birthplace. In addition to the American heritage she has, her roots are “all over the place”, so to speak – she has Sudeten German, English, Norwegian, French-Canadian and Czech ancestry. Even as a child, she couldn’t fathom being anything less than a famous actress. Using her mom’s camera, she recorded herself recreating scenes from various sitcoms she loved when she was young.

This practice paid off, as she was able to make her acting debut as a teenager (more on that in the following section). She attended an unspecified high school in her hometown, from which she matriculated in 2006, then enrolled at the University of Texas at Arlington to study film, but quickly dropped out. ‘It was a difficult decision because I’ve been taught to prioritize education all my life’, stated Matula on the subject. ‘Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy I decided to focus on work, but there’s always that voice in the back of your head, reminding you that you could have made a mistake.’ She relocated to Los Angeles, California, with the goal of becoming a film star.

Career: Anime, Queen Sized, The Bold and the Beautiful and More

Unbeknownst to most, Kim’s first acting credit dates back to when she was 12. She gave her voice to a character in the English dubbing of “Meitantei Conan: Hitomi no naka no ansatsusha” (“Detective Conan: Captured in Her Eyes” in English), which is a popular Japanese animated film. 2006 saw her return to voice acting, with credits in “School Rumble”, “Sasami mahô shôjo kurabu “ (Sasami: Magical Girls Club) and “Strain: Strategic Armored Infantry”.

However, her on-screen debut was in “Queen Sized” in the part of Tara, a TV movie praised by critics, which was good news for the young Kim. Immediately afterwards, she was given the role of College Nate in “Pink”. After a cameo appearance in “How I Met Your Mother” and playing Gail in seven episodes of “Exposed”, she assumed the part of Hope Logan in “The Bold and the Beautiful”. After several spectacular performances, they had no choice but to make her role a permanent one, as she went on to appear in 906 episodes. In 2015, it was announced that she hadn’t renewed her contract, and left the show.

Recent Works

After leaving “The Bold and the Beautiful”, things started going downhill. Don’t get us wrong, she still landed important roles, but none matched Hope Logan, which even earned Kim a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2014. Her nextmajor role was as Tiffany James in ”UnREAL”, a show about the contestants of a fictional dating-related reality show. In 2017, we could see her in “Rosewood” and “Maybe Someday”, as well as “Teachers”, then she had a return to the limelight with the role of Ronnie in “LA to Vegas”, but the show failed to impress critics and was discontinued after only one season.

Today, Kim is still focused on her career, but it seems that she is involved with other endeavors. We hope she makes a triumphant return to television!

However, we were able to do some digging on her social media profiles, and found out that she is in a relationship with singer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Goldberg. She has a net worth of approximately $2 million, as of August 2019. Most of her wealth by playing Hope Logan in “The Bold and the Beautiful”. However, it seems that she is very skilled in the money management department, as she hasn’t spent too much of her earnings.
