Who is Megyn Price?
Born Megyn Samantha Price on the 24th March 1971 in Seattle, Washington USA, she is an actress, probably best known to the world from her appearances as Claudia Finnerty in the TV series “Grounded for Life” (2001-2005), and as Audrey Bingham in another TV series – “Rules of Engagement” (2007-2013) – among other roles she has secured so far in her career.
What is Megyn Price Doing Now?
Megyn is quite focused on her acting career, and since 2016 has been in the main cast of the TV comedy series “The Ranch”, starring Ashton Kutcher, Debra Winger and Sam Elliott, among many other stars. So far, she has featured in 24 episodes of the highly-acclaimed TV series, which is her 20th role in her lengthy career.
Megyn Price Bio: Early Life, Siblings, and Education
Born into a Mormon family, Megyn was raised as such alongside her brother Joseph, who became an Air Force captain and now works as a computer specialist. She actually grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, where she went to Norman High School. During this time she became interested in acting and wrote the play “Here Comes the Sun”, however, she thought of acting as “the dumbest career choice anyone could possibly make”, and so after matriculating, she enrolled at Stanford University to study economics and communication, although still remaining active in theater, performing at a conservatory theater in San Francisco. After graduating she started by working as an investment banker, but lasted only a year in the corporate world before she decided to pursue an acting career.
Career Beginnings
With acting experience only in theater, she struggled to obtain notable roles, and began with minor parts in such TV series as “Quantum Leap” in 1993, then “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” in 1994, which turned out to be quite memorable to the public, while in 1996 she secured her first recurring role, as Nancy Slaton in the TV series “Common Law”, and then secured another recurring role in “LateLine” from 1998 to 1999, appearing in 17 episodes of the comedy series.
