The Bulls requested a DNA test to see if he had a congenital heart condition, but Curry refused, and so he was traded off to the New York Knicks, for whom he played from 2005 until released in 2011. Before the year ended, he was signed by the Miami Heat, where he played for two years and helped win the 2012 NBA Championship.
