He has appeared in close to 100 movies and TV series, while he’s probably known best for his portrayal of the lead character Django in the 2012 western movie “Django Unchained”.

It was written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, also starred Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio, and follows a freed slave and a German bounty-hunter as they’re trying to rescue the former’s wife from a plantation owner; the movie won 60 awards, including two Oscars for Best Writing, Original Screenplay and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role (Christoph Waltz), while it was nominated for 158 other awards.
