The Wealth of Katrina Pierson
How rich is Katrina Pierson? As of late-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $500,000, earned largely through success in the political field. She also tried her hand at a congressional position, and serves as a part of a pro-Trump organization. As she continues her career, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.
Early Life and Education
Katrina’s mother was white and her father was black; her mother gave birth to her when she was 15 years old, and initially wanted to give her up for adoption but later changed her mind. She grew up with her mother, and they had difficulty due to poverty. In 1997, she was arrested for shoplifting and pleaded no contest, to which she received a deferred adjudication and ultimately a dismissal. According to reports, she took around $168 worth of merchandise from a J. C. Penney store, and told authorities that she needed clothes for job interviews. According to her, the incident helped turn her life around, as she realized that mistakes come with consequences.
Despite that, she was able to complete her education, and after matriculating from high school, enrolled in Kilgore College where she earned an associate degree. In 2006 she continued her studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology.

Political Career
In 2008, Pierson started working for InVentiv Health, then after a year moved to work with the Baylor Health Care System for the next two years as a practice administrator. Afterwards, she was hired as a director of corporate affairs in ASG Software Solutions in 2011, a position which lasted for a year. She took a variety of jobs until eventually she was hired by the Trump campaign, prior to which she had initially supported Barack Obama, but started shifting towards a more right position over the next few years. She actually joined the Tea Party movement, but cited Malcolm X as her political idol.
She worked as a speaker at several Tea Party events, and founded a local Tea Party group based in Garland, Texas. She also actively supported the Senate campaign of Ted Cruz, and appeared with him on stage. In 2014, she tried her hand at vying for a congressional position, challenging incumbent congressman Pete Sessions in the Republican primary representing the 32nd district of Texas. She was endorsed by both Rafael Cruz and Sarah Palin while Ted Cruz also gave her praise. She also released a campaign ad which criticized Obama’s actions that led to higher national debt.
Working for Trump
Katrina was unsuccessful in her run for congress, and received few campaign contributions against Sessions. After her loss, she became the spokesperson for the Tea Party leadership fund, and in 2015 while attending a meeting for Tea Party activists alongside Ted Cruz, she met Donald Trump. She met with Trump’s aides several times after that, and was eventually hired to become the national spokesperson for Trump’s presidential campaign. She frequently appeared on television in that capacity, and became one of the defenders of Trump despite the controversies surrounding him.
After the 2016 election, she was offered an administration position as Deputy Press Secretary, but she declined, and instead began working for the pro-Trump group called America First Policies, an organization created to promote the policy agenda of Donald Trump’s presidency. The group has attracted controversy as one of its directors were forced to resign after making racist and derogatory comments. Another advisor for the group was also caught on camera making statements in support of the Nazis. Former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Katie Walsh is a member of the group. In 2018, Katrina was then hired to be a senior advisor for the 2020 campaign of Trump.
Personal Life
For her personal life, it is known that Pierson was married at a young age, but it only lasted for three months before divorce.. She had a son during that marriage, and they reside in Garland, Texas. She mentioned in an interview that Martin Luther King, Jr. was too moderate and one of the reasons she shifted away from Obama was his refusal to wear an American flag on his lapel. She has also been rumored to be romantically involved with Ted Cruz due to their close association, but this has never been confirmed.
