In 1999, he was cast in one his most notable roles in “Days of Our Lives”, and after leaving the show he appeared as one of the leads in the series “Mutant X”, which would go on to run for three seasons; the show is based on Marvel Comics mutants and the X-Men, which found issue with 20th Century Fox as they had the license to produce X-Men-related property.

In 2002, Webster was listed as one of People’s 50 Most Eligible Bachelors, after which he appeared in the film ‘Bringing in the House” a comedy starring Steve Martin and Queen Latifah. Afterwards, he appeared as a guest in various popular television shows, including “Sex and the City”, actually alternating between roles in films and on television.
In 2006, he appeared during the final episodes of the series “Charmed”, the fantasy series focusing on a trio of sisters known as The Charmed Ones, who are the most powerful ‘good’ witches who. In the show, he played the role of cupid Coop who would go on to marry Phoebe Halliwell played by Alyssa Milano in the final episode of the series. In 2009, Webster then had a recurring role in the re-launch of “Melrose Place”, in which he played Caleb Brewer. He also played a con artist turned serial killer in an episode of “Criminal Minds”.

One of his most recent projects is the Hallmark film “Summer Villa”, in which he played a chef. He’s appeared in a lot of other Hallmark films in recent years, including “Love Blossoms”, “Home for Christmas Day”, and “A Harvest Wedding”.
