The Net Worth of Amber Midthunder
How rich is Amber Midthunder? As of late-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is almost $1 million, earned through a successful career in acting. She’s also worked on numerous films throughout her career and as she continues her endeavors, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Growing up, Amber developed a strong interest in acting at a young age thanks to the influence of her parents – her father worked as an actor while her mother was a casting director. She is of Native American descent, a member of the Fort Peck Sioux Tribe. While little is known about her education or how she got started in the industry, it is known that she started taking acting projects as a child. One of her first notable roles was a small speaking part in the film “Sunshine Cleaning” in 2008, a comedy-drama starring Emily Blunt and Amy Adams. During the same year, she also had a minor role in the film “Swing Vote”, which starred Kevin Costner in a plot focused on a presidential election determined by the vote of one man. The following year, she was cast in the independent film entitled “Not Forgotten” which tells the story of a kidnapping by a ritualistic cult on the Texas-Mexico border.
Longmire, Banshee, and Fame
In 2012, Midthunder was cast in one of her most notable roles alongside her father, in the series “Longmire”, which is based on the novels by Craig Johnson entitled “The Walt Longmire Mysteries”, focusing on a Wyoming Sheriff as he investigates major crimes, along with various associates. During its run with A&E it became one of the best shows of the network, and would run until 2014 when the network decided to no longer renew I, and although it was picked up by Netflix, she was no longer a part of the cast.
Instead, Amber appeared in a new series entitled “Banshee”, which is set in the titular small town following an ex-con played by Antony Starr who assumes the identity of the town’s murdered sheriff. She played the role of Lana Clearly during the show’s 10 episode run, then afterwards she returned to do film work in “Drunktown’s Finest”, a support role, before being cast in “Spare Parts” as Nikki in a film based on the true story of a group of students winning the 2004 MATE ROV competition against M.I.T. She was also in the film “Bare”, starring Diana Agron.
Legion and Later Career
In 2016, Amber was involved in two film projects, the first being the crime thriller film entitled “Hell or High Water”, which stars Chris Pine and Ben Foster; the two do a series of bank robberies to help save their family ranch, while being chased by two Texas Rangers. The second film is “Priceless” which is inspired by true events, focusing on human trafficking and stars her alongside Bianca Santos.
After a guest role in the series entitled “The Originals”, she then had another notable role in the series “Legion”, playing the role of Kerry Loudermilk, based on the Marvel Comics character David Haller or Legion who is a mutant and connected to the “X-Men” film series. The first season attracted a lot of critical acclaim, leading to a second season, and now a third season set to air in 2019. In the show, she plays the role of a mutant who lives in the body of another named Cary, with their power allowing them to co-exist in one body or become two separate persons. She only ages when she is outside his body, leaving her much younger than he is.
Personal Life
For her personal life, not much is known in terms of any romantic relationships as Midthunder is still young and apparently still focused on her career above anything else. Her mother is adopted which is one of the reasons why she mentions that there is still a part of her ethnicity which she is not aware of. Midthunder is the first minor to achieve the “Legal 18” status in the state of New Mexico. She also has a passion for filmmaking and directorial work, planning to do more of those types of projects later in her career. Her father appeared alongside her in the series “Longmire”.
