Early Life and Education

Asaad’s birthname is unknown, as he was adopted by Mohammad Ali and his wife Yolanda ‘Lonnie’ Williams when he was only five months old. He was being cared for by Lonnie’s sister before going into foster care, but upon visiting her and seeing the baby, the famous couple fell in love with him, and so adopted him. At this point, Muhammad already had seven daughters and a son from an earlier marriage, which made Asaad the ninth and youngest in the household. Asaad attended an unspecified high school in his birthplace, where it is known that he played football as well as baseball, which generated a deep interest in the career he has today. With his high school, he went to the Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference West Division Championship as a catcher, but batting .367 with four doubles, with two home runs and 18 RBIs in 25 games. His Father’s Passing

Also nicknamed ‘The Greatest’, Muhammad Ali passed away on the 3rd of June 2016 at the age of 74 in Scottsdale, Arizona, having suffered from Parkinson’s disease for a number of years. One day prior to his death, he was hospitalized due to a respiratory issue, and even though it was considered non-lethal his condition worsened, and Ali died from septic shock the next day. Following his passing, many fans around the globe expressed their condolences to the boxing  legend’s family, including his youngest adopted son. In an Instagram post, Asaad stated: ‘Forever grateful for everything you have ever gave me. You’ve shown me how to love the world in ways I didn’t know possible. You’ve shown me how to be brave and courageous in situations beyond my belief! You’ve taught me so much the last 25 years, things that will forever be imprinted in my soul. I’m able to sit here and write this post without falling apart because I honestly know you are in a greater place. And I’m happy you get to go home to grandma now I know she has missed you like crazy! No one will ever touch this earth the way you did. God has come down and taken back one of his kings!
