Cathy has two daughters, but some reports say that Areu is in a relationship though no details have been shared about her boyfriend, nor any information regarding how they met or the length of their relationship, while others contend that she is married and the two children are from the marriage. She has declared herself as a single mother, although one report says that she appeared with her (supposed?) husband in 2017 at a new book launch – “Pinot, Pasta & Parties”.
