Julie Gonzalo Wiki: Age, Childhood, Education, Face Scar
Born Julieta Susana Gonzalo on the 9th September 1981, in Lanus, Buenos Aires Argentina, soon after her birth she relocated with her family to Miami, Florida USA, where she spent her childhood. Unfortunately, no further information has been made available about her childhood, such as the names of her parents and their professions, while she also hasn’t shared anything in regards to her educational background, except for the fact that she attended acting classes. When it comes to the scar above her nose, Julie hasn’t shared the full story, but stated only that it is from an accident that happened in her childhood.
Career Beginnings
Before she made her acting debut, Julie was a print model, and as her modeling career was progressing, she moved to Los Angeles as she felt that she would have more chances of showcasing her acting skills. There Julie started attending auditions, and got her start with a minor role in the romantic comedy film “I’m with Lucy” (2002), starring Monica Potter, Craig Bierko and Linda Halaska.
She continued with minor roles in films such as “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story”, then “Christmas with the Kranks” both in 2004, and “Must Love Dogs” in 2005, while in 2006 she was selected for her first recurring role, as Parker Lee in the TV series “Veronica Mars”, and subsequently featured in 21 episodes of the award-winning series. In 2007 she had one of her first notable roles, as Desiree Thomas in the thriller film “Cherry Crush”, next to Nikki Reed and Jonathan Tucker.
Rise to Prominence
Gradually, Julie was becoming more popular, and new roles were offered to her; in 2008 she started portraying Maggie Dekker in the TV series “Eli Stone” (2008-2009), and in 2012 she reached stardom with the role of Pamela Rebecca Barnes in the TV romantic-drama series “Dallas”, featuring in all 40 episodes of the popular TV series, which launched her to prominence. Following the end of the series in 2014, Julie continued her career rather successfully, first with the lead role in the film “Waffle Street” (2015), then in the television film “Pumpkin Pie Wars” (2016), and the romantic comedy film “Alex & The List” in 2017, co-starring Jennifer Morrison and Karen Gillan.
Most recently, Julie starred in the television film “Falling for Vermont” with Benjamin Ayres and Lauren McNamara, and had another lead role in the television film “Flip That Romance” (2019), starring next to Tyler Hynes and Cardi Wong.
