Rise to Prominence
With previous experience as a singer and actress in various musicals and shows, Lindsay auditioned for the part of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald in the soap opera “Passions”, and the moment she won the role, everybody wanted to know who Lindsay was. She portrayed Theresa from 1999 to 2008, during which time she became a national star, and received nominations for several awards, including the Soap Opera Digest Award in the category for Outstanding Female Newcomer in 2000, while in 2002 and 2003 she was nominated for the same award, but this time in the category of Outstanding Younger Lead Actress.
During the time she worked on “Passions”, Lindsay wasn’t actively pursuing other acting engagements, but was solely focused on the part of Theresa, but once her stint ended, she made a couple of guest-starring appearances, firstly as Susie Summersby in the TV series “Brawn & Glamour” (2008), and then as Gretchen Javid in the crime-drama series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” in 2009. The same year, Lindsay started portraying Arianna Hernandez in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”, and subsequently appeared in 170 episodes of the award-winning series, which made her even more popular.

Now a prominent star of the daytime drama series, Lindsay continued in the same rhythm when she was chosen for the role of Dr. Cara Castillo in “All My Children”, remaining in the series from 2010 to 2011, and then returning for the 2013 season. However, since then, Lindsay hasn’t had much success, appearing only in minor roles in B production films, with the exception of the drama thriller film “Nightmare Nurse” in 2016, then the notable role in the television film “Deadly Attraction”, and recently starred in the thriller film “A Sister’s Obsession” in 2018. She is now working on the television thriller film “Terrified at 17”, scheduled for release on the 29th October 2018.
