Kasie Hunt is an American political correspondent as well as a commentator and a TV anchor, who is probably best known for hosting her own politics and news television show named “Kasie DC“, which airs every Sunday night at 7 p.m. on the MSNBC. Besides this, she is also widely recognized for regularly appearing in the NBC News as its Capitol Hill correspondent.

Kasie S. Hunt was born under the zodiac sign of Gemini, on the 24th May 1985, in Wayne, Pennsylvania USA, into the family of a yoga teacher Krista and Bruce Hunt, who is a real estate design and construction manager. Kasie is of American nationality and white ethnicity, and has a younger sister named Carly, born on the 11th July 1987, who is a former golf player famous for being a member of Georgetown University’s Hoyas and University of Maryland’s Terrapins athletic teams.
Upon completing her elementary education, Kasie enrolled at Conestoga High School in Tredyffrin Township, Pennsylvania, from which she matriculated in 2003. She then continued her education at the Elliott School of International Affairs of George Washington University in Washington D.C., from which she graduated magna cum laude in 2006, obtaining her degree in international affairs. Hunt later attended The Master, Fellows and Scholars of the College of St John the Evangelist in the University of Cambridge in the UK, from which she graduated with her master’s degree in sociology.

Kasie’s career in journalism started while she was still a student, when she began her internship in one of the NBC News’ political units. Later, in 2010 she landed a job at the National Journal, where she was a health policy reporter for its “Congress Daily” publication focused on Capitol Hill’s inner working, primarily focusing on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (popularly called “Obamacare”). Apart from these, in 2010 Kasie Hunt also covered the mid-term elections as the Politico’s correspondent.
In August 2011, Hunt joined the Associated Press where as its national political reporter, she was in charge of covering the 2012 Mitt Romney candidacy for the Presidency of the United States. In the course of the next several months, Kasie honed her reporting skills, and in January 2013 transferred to NBC News, not only as its off-air reporter, but as a producer as well, covering topics such as politics and the Congress. In 2014 Hunt joined the MSNBC, where she regularly featured as its political reporter, while in November that year, she was named as the MSNBC’s political correspondent. Kasie Hunt is also regularly contributing to msnbc.com, and occasionally appears on its talk shows such as the “Hardball with Chris Matthews”, NBC News’ “Morning Joe” as well as in Bloomberg Television’s broadcast “With All Due Respect”.
Since October 2017, Kasie Hunt is anchoring her own news and politics talk show “Kasie DC”, which airs on Sunday nights on MSNBC.
