Early Life and Education

Growing up, Oliver had developed an interest in art, and he steadily improved his drawing skills. He also showed a bit of talent skateboarding, and improved that skill too while attending South West High School in Dallas. With the guidance of another professional named Stell, Oliver would actually become one of the best tattoo artists in the world. In 2008, he made headlines when he was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records, for creating 415 tattoos of the number 13 within a 24 hour period.

Moving to Business

Thanks to his experience and popularity, Peck started getting invitations to various locations in Europe to display his skill, and so others could get tattoos designed by him. He soon ventured into business for himself with the money he gathered, and subsequently opened two tattoo parlors, the first being Elm Street Tattoo in Dallas, and the other True Tattoo in Hollywood. His exposure also continued to increase, as he was invited to become involved with the Spike TV television show entitled “Ink Master” as a judge, alongside Dave Navarro and Chris Nunez.

The reality competition series features various up-and-coming tattoo artists who compete in a variety of challenges, with renowned tattoo artists judging their skills. The show attracted a bit of controversy when a staff member accused Peck and Nunez of sexually harassing her, and treating her “like a whore” according to her words. Nevertheless, the show continued to run and its popularity has also spawned several spin-offs.  After his run with the show, Peck continues to do tattoo work, and manages his shops.

After dating for several months, Oliver married tattoo artist and model Kat Von D in 2003 – their marriage would go on for four years before they divorced in 2007. During this time, Von D was also suffering from alcoholism, and she decided to quit drinking after realizing that it was affecting her work. After the end of the relationship, Oliver went on to have a relationship with Audra Cabral, and the two can be seen together in various social media posts.
