American actress Laura Spencer was born under the zodiac sign Taurus on 8 May 1986, in Oklahoma City USA. She has 53 acting credits, and is perhaps known best for playing Emily Sweeney in 17 episodes (2014-2017) of the romantic comedy series “The Big Bang Theory”, which starred Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki, and was created by Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre. It follows the lives of two brilliant but socially awkward physicists and their new neighbor, the series aired from 2007 through 2019, and won 79 of its 333 award nominations.

Laura was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma by her father Richard von Seelen and mother Carolyn von Seelen, but she rarely speaks about them in public as she respects their privacy; Laura’s also believed to be an only child, as she hasn’t spoken about having siblings.

She studied at Santa Fe High School and was into multiple activities during her time there, including acting, playing volleyball and dancing; Laura matriculated in 2004, and then planned to pursue acting but was persuaded by her parents to continue working on her education.
