Megan made her acting debut with the role of Abigail in the short film entitled “Elijah” in 2001, and followed by portraying Rae in an episode of “The Cleaner”. As of 2009, she portrayed Megan in “My Bloody Valentine”, a horror mystery movie which follows the story of a man named Tom who returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine’s Day massacre, only to be accused of committing the murders. The movie had a mediocre response from critics and the audience, and earned four nominations, such as Scream Award and Rondo Statuette. The actress went on to work on “The Myth of the American Sleepover”, collaborating with artists such as Claire Sloma, Marlon Morton, Amanda Bauer and Brett Jacobsen, then in 2010, she landed the role of Allie in “Sex & The City 2”, which allowed her to gain more exposure and positive attention from the media. Despite receiving a mediocre response from the critics, the movie did fairly well with audiences.

In 2010, Boone began playing Lauren Stanton in “Law & Order: LA”, ultimately appearing in seven episodes of the series before finishing with the project in the following year.
