Although born Canadian, Noah grew up in Baltimore, Maryland USA, but spent his teen years in both Canada and Australia, where he attended boarding schools. Athletic from an early age, he played basketball – it was in 11th grade that his ‘friend’ had burned No. 7 on Noah’s shoulder with a knife and a lighter in celebration of a victory over a local team; the mark can be seen in many photographs.
Noah is the youngest of five children, with two brothers and two sisters, although their identity and of his parents is unknown to the outer world. Following his successful completion of high school, Noah enrolled at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, where he majored in psychology.

Noah’s career started by accident, but he quickly progressed; one of his sisters sent some of his photographs to a modeling agency, which actually resulted with a contract offer. That same year, Noah was named Model of the Week by Model.com in Nov 2003. As his career progressed he began receiving offers from notable designers and brands, and in early 2004 made his debut on the catwalk, for Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, featuring in Paris and Milan fashion weeks for those two bands, while in early 2005 he was also engaged by Dolce & Gabbana.
