However, she would withdraw from her position just a month after being assigned, after it was revealed that she had plagiarized portions of her 2000 Ph.D. dissertation as well as her 2012 book “What the (Bleep) Just Happened”.

Marriage to Alan Colmes

Alan Colmes was a radio and television host, best known for his work with the Fox News Channel on which he served as a liberal political commentator. He was the host of his own radio show called “The Alan Colmes Show” which was aired through Fox News Radio. Other work he did over the course of his career included as the co-host of “Hannity & Colmes”, and on the liberal panel for “The Greg Gutfeld Show”. He also ran his own blog, and wrote two books during his career.

Alan and Jocelyn Crowley married in 2003, and by all accounts had a happy marriage for 14 years until Colmes’ untimely death. They didn’t have children. Her husband suffered from lymphoma or blood cancer that affected the white blood cells, which eventually took its toll on Colmes in 2017, as he passed away at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at the age of 66. The couple were known to have been happily married and supported each other throughout their careers. According to reports, Alan tried to hide his illness from his wife as he did not want her to get upset or worried.
