She was a student of Hershey High School and, having matriculated in 2003, she enrolled into the College of William & Mary, where she studied kinesiology and was a member of cardiovascular psychology lab, graduating in 2007. In addition, she was active in sports, running the 400 meter track event, and participating in triple jump and high jump too.
