Tyler spent his entire childhood in Missouri with his parents and siblings – he never talks about them during his streams and therefore nothing is known of them. Because of this, Tyler is also said to be an only child, but this isn’t accurate. He fell in love with video games when he was still very young, and had his brother Eric as a co-player – they played numerous games on a couple of consoles including PlayStation 1, PC, and PlayStation 4. The two later began playing online games such as League of Legends (LoL), and realized that they were quite good at it, and decided to stream their gameplays on Twitch.

Education

Tyler attended Mark Twain Senior School, and after he matriculated enrolled at the Central Methodist University (CMU), and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He was also very sportive during these years, as he played football for the campus’ team and was nicknamed ‘waterbug’ by his teammates. At the same time as his permanent ban from LoL, Tyler was banned from Twitch as well, the reason behind this is not known but it is said to be because of verbal abuse which violates Twitch’s terms and conditions. Tyler promised to work on his toxic behavior while the ban lasts.
