Lisa Mateo, nee Nieve, was born on 19 July 1972 in Brooklyn, New York City, USA, of Puerto Rican parents, though their names and occupations are unavailable. Working at PIX11, Lisa has been the weather reporter, the weekday morning anchor and fill in anchor for more than ten years. She has come a long way since starting her television career backstage of the TV company in the position of a production assistant, responsible for making coffee and tea for her colleagues, also operating the teleprompter. In several months she proved herself to be a hard-working person, and was promoted to the position of an entertainment producer.
